Walking Rivers: on May 17 a circular route to approach the Ebro River between Alcalá de Ebro – Remolinos (Zaragoza)

- For the second year we participate in this worldwide initiative to bring the population closer to the rivers and their values, with a route that also includes a section of interpretive descent in an inflatable boat to join the two banks of the Ebro.

Alternative to reduce the risk of flooding in Azagra, analyzed by the population

The detailed study of the Ebro Resilience Strategy was presented at a deliberative workshop held in the Navarre municipality and organized by the CHE, the Government of Navarre and the City Council. - The alternative selected as the most efficient one avoids flooding of the urban center for floods with a return period of 25 years.

On March 25 and 26, a networking conference was held in Arévalo (Ávila), where the Duero has the headquarters of this European project.

Plantations in the meander of La Roza, in Alfaro (La Rioja) have been completed.

This intervention, which represents the bulk of the environmental restoration, has been carried out with species typical of the Ebro riverbank for the renaturalization of this space recovered for the river.
