Objetives
The main objective of the project is to make the middle stretch of the Ebro River more resilient to floods, reducing the damage caused by those and improving the ecological status and local biodiversity. The specific objectives are as follows:

- Improve by 60% the resilience to flood risk in the intervention territory. In addition, 14% of the floodplains will be recovered through the elimination of 1.8 km of motes.
- Improve the ecological status of the Ebro River in the intervention areas. 14% of the floodplains and 20 hectares of riparian forest will be recovered.

- Promote the involvement of the local population in the project (22873 inhabitants).
- Improve native biodiversity by creating suitable habitats for 3 endangered species: Margaritifera auriculario, Potomida littoralis and Mustela lutreola. 2 hectares of exotic species will be eliminated.

- Use the actions of the project as a reference for the beginning of similar interventions in other areas of the middle stretch of the Ebro River, following the measures contemplated in the Flood Risk Management Plan (PGRI).
- Set up a strategy that can be replicated at the national and European level in other river basins with similar problems.
