With the aim of disseminating and clarifying all doubts in good time, the Government of Navarra, with the collaboration of the public company OREKAN- Environmental Management of Navarra, has organized two webinars to present what will be the third call for grants for the protection and adaptation to flood risk in the region, within the Ebro Resilience Strategy.
The appointments will be onJune 16 at 11:30 a.m. and June 17 at 5:00 p.m., with a duration of one hour and a half. Registration is required at this link
The future recipients of the aid and the target public of these informative seminars are individuals and legal entities, private entities and communities of owners in the municipalities bordering the Ebro as it passes through Navarra and its main tributaries: Ega, Arga, Aragón, Alhama, Queiles and Huecha.
In addition, as another of the objectives is to inform and raise awareness on how to manage flood risk, the seminars are also open to local action groups, business associations and property managers.
The Government of Navarra launched two campaigns in 2023 and 2024 which, with 804,590 euros, are already benefiting 73 individuals or legal entities.
This third one is pending to be called for 306,323 euros, expandable to 150,000 more and the subsidies will be granted by the competitive concurrence system to develop measures to adapt to the risk of flooding of buildings, equipment, facilities, agricultural or livestock farms, so as to minimize the damage caused by river floods.
