Enjoying the river and learning about floods: two new interpretive trails in October

On Saturday, October 4, we will walk through the Ebro copses between Castejón (Navarra) and Alfaro (La Rioja) and on Saturday, October 18, we will walk through the meander of Aguilar, in Fuentes de Ebro, where we will be able to see the works in progress for the adaptation to flooding in this area.

Environmental educators from La Rioja and Aragón participate in a LIFE Ebro Resilience workshop in the natural area La Alfranca (Zaragoza)

The objective of this meeting was to establish with them the contents of a training course for this crucial sector for the dissemination to society and also to give them a guided tour of the exhibition “When the river recovers its space” so that they have the keys to be the ones to explain it to those interested.

Within the scope of the Ebro Resilience Strategy, the conference “Good practices in actions for the conservation, maintenance and improvement of riverbeds in urban sections” was organized.

The Strategy has been recognized in the Water category, which distinguishes actions that improve sustainability and the natural environment and fight against climate change, and where its commitment to coordination between Administrations has been highlighted.

Walking Rivers: on May 17 a circular route to approach the Ebro River between Alcalá de Ebro – Remolinos (Zaragoza)

- For the second year we participate in this worldwide initiative to bring the population closer to the rivers and their values, with a route that also includes a section of interpretive descent in an inflatable boat to join the two banks of the Ebro.
