Third call for subsidies from the Government of Navarra for adaptation to flood risk

This call will be open until September 1 for individuals or legal entities, private entities and communities of owners in the middle stretch of the Navarre Ebro and its main tributaries (Ega, Arga, Aragón, Alhama, Queiles and Huecha) within the framework of the Ebro Resilience Strategy and with NextGeneration Funds.

Video “Adaptation is possible: real solutions to unavoidable floods. Osera de Ebro-Fuentes de Ebro stretch”

A new video LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 shows the effects of floods when they are encountered with narrowing of the river due to the presence of defenses and explains in a simple way the proposals for adaptation to flooding of agriculture associated with the river area.

The second phase of the adaptation of the irrigation infrastructure in Fuentes de Ebro (Zaragoza) begins.

The work on the new underground pipeline, far from the bed of the Huerta del Ebro Irrigation Community (Zaragoza), is focused on the last kilometer of the infrastructure and is being carried out on dates that do not interfere with the irrigation campaign.

Phase 1 of the adapted irrigation network in Fuentes de Ebro has been tested.

The first phase of the new pipeline for the irrigation system of the Huerta del Ebro Irrigation Community, in Fuentes de Ebro, Zaragoza, has been completed, reaching 1,350 meters of this infrastructure. During the last week of April, a test run of the installation was carried out, with satisfactory results, and it could be used by its users immediately.

Provisional irrigation systems enabled during the work to adapt the Ebro Orchard Community system to floods

The scarcity of winter rains has allowed progress to be made on the work, but unfortunately it is detrimental to crops. For this reason, temporary irrigation has been set up in the fields surrounding the works to save crops, in agreement with the irrigation community and in keeping with the Project's spirit of participation and cooperation.
