One of the action lines of the LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 Project is social capacity building: increasing shared knowledge on rivers and floods, fostering networking among the riparian population, facilitating common tools to be more resilient, having a reference glossary to use the same terms and understand them, is a step in that direction.

First irrigation campaign with a system more adapted to floods in Fuentes de Ebro

First works for the environmental restoration of the Ebro in the meander of El Señorío (Castejón, Navarra).

Phase 1 of the renaturation of this area, integrated in the LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 Project, has started and is focused, for the moment, on the left bank of the river with the objective of recovering the connection between the riparian forests and the riverside.

- This April, one of the most attractive lines of actions for strengthening social capacities and increasing knowledge about the river was launched. Phase 1 of the adapted irrigation network in Fuentes de Ebro has been tested.

The first phase of the new pipeline for the irrigation system of the Huerta del Ebro Irrigation Community, in Fuentes de Ebro, Zaragoza, has been completed, reaching 1,350 meters of this infrastructure. During the last week of April, a test run of the installation was carried out, with satisfactory results, and it could be used by its users immediately.
