International Day of Forests: life and adaptation measures in the middle stretch of the Ebro river

The LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 Project includes in the actions for adaptation the recovery of riverside groves, which is already seen in the meander of La Roza, and in the environmental restoration project in the recovered area between Osera de Ebro and Fuentes de Ebro.

12,500 native specimens to renaturalize the recovered fluvial space between Osera de Ebro and Fuentes de Ebro.

This is the main action of the environmental restoration project planned in zone 2 of LIFE Ebro Resilience P1, in the province of Zaragoza, and is in addition to the new wetland created in the Meandro de Aguilar.

Audiovisual Bathymetries Ebro Resilience: studying the river bed in its middle section.

A mapping of the submerged relief of the middle Ebro, between Logroño and La Zaida, is being carried out during 2025, which will allow a comparison with the one carried out between 2019-2021 and draw conclusions with objective data on sedimentation, deposition and erosion.
