The LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 Project returns with its proposal to learn about the Ebro River from the inside, the interpretive descents for all audiences as a means to generate more knowledge about the river among the riparian population.

the activities, which will be held in the Osera de Ebro – Fuentes de Ebro and Soto de Alfaro section, are open to the entire population with 40 places available in each of the descents, so prior registration is required .

Another look at the river

The descent, carried out by EbroNautas for LIFE Ebro Resilience P1, will offer a new perspective on the river, always different when it is known and enjoyed from the inside. It will deal with its reality as a river course and will talk about its environmental values, but also about the phenomenon of flooding in these sections and adaptation actions.

The activity is part of the social capacity building actions. The objective is to increase the riparian population’s knowledge of floods, promote participation in the forums where adaptation actions are defined, improve the action and knowledge networks of the municipalities themselves and thus enhance self-protection against the negative effects of floods.

Since 2023, these popular descents and other sectorial descents (technical groups, people involved in public participation groups, educators…) have been carried out, in addition to those being carried out in secondary schools in the intervention areas for ESO and Bachillerato students.
