The exhibition Cuando el r\u00edo recupera su espacio (When the river recovers its space)<\/em> is hosted this October at the Centro P\u00fablico de Educaci\u00f3n de Personas Adultas (CPEPA) of Fuentes de Ebro (Zaragoza), a living space in the town. Around the photographic exhibition, other activities have been scheduled, a guided tour for students of the center and a guided tour for the entire population. <\/p>

The collection of photographs aims to bring the concept of adaptation to floods closer to the territory and to explain in a graphic way the interventions that the LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 Project and the Ebro Resilience Strategy are carrying out in their municipalities.<\/p>

In the case of Fuentes de Ebro, a town included in zone 2 of the LIFE Project, in the Osera de Ebro – Fuentes de Ebro section, very important actions are being carried out which, as a whole, seek to improve the resilience of agricultural areas to flooding<\/a>.<\/p>

Specifically, the reduction of narrowings in the river, moving away longitudinal protections of the riverbed and recovering fluvial space in the mejana del Conde and the meander of Aguilar and also, the creation of lateral flow buffer zones<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Content<\/strong><\/p>

The exhibition \n When the river recovers its space<\/em>\n<\/strong> has already visited the Water and Environment Documentation Center of the City Council of Zaragoza, the Interpretation Center of La Alfranca and the Interpretation Center of the Sotos de Alfaro and its Storks.<\/p>

The exhibition is adapted to the spaces it visits both in size and in the order of its blocks. Through a<\/a> series of snapshots,<\/a> provided by the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation for the LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 and information panels, five thematic areas related to the actions of the Project are visited: <\/p>
