After an important planning and development work by LIFE Ebro Resilience P1, the board game Inundable<\/em> <\/b>is a reality. An educational material for the third cycle of Primary School and 1st of ESO <\/b>to deal with flood risk, management measures and the concept of land management. <\/p>

The Capacity Building<\/a> team of the LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 Project created and defined this complete game for which they have had the support of EsCiencia, specialists in scientific dissemination.<\/p>

In addition, its playability, objectives and concepts have gone through the reflection and contribution of ideas in the co-creation groups, spaces of participation<\/strong> that count with the presence of teachers, environmental educators, technical profiles…<\/p>

It is a strategic and collaborative game, in which the teams build and define the river and through situation cards a game context is generated (floods, floods, droughts).<\/strong> During the game, elements typical of the Ebro riverbank are placed: towns, industries, agricultural and livestock farms, groves, and they are exposed to the reality of extreme phenomena.<\/p>

The activity has been implemented in schools in the intervention areas and other municipalities in the middle stretch of the Ebro. This April, a test was carried out in the CEIP Tom\u00e1s Alvira in Zaragoza, where, in addition to playing, the students of the 6th grade of primary school reflected on rivers, floods and the concept of risk. <\/p>


The game is a free educational resource and in this phase of the Project, copies are distributed in the centers where the activities have been carried out so that students can continue exploring the possibilities of the game and in some environmental education centers, such as the Center for Documentation and the Environment (CDAMAZ) of the City Council of Zaragoza or the Natural Environment Interpretation Center of the Government of Aragon in La Alfranca (Zaragoza). <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Exhibition<\/strong><\/p>

This year 2025, the project has also launched an informative exhibition for the entire primary school cycle that is touring the centers of the municipalities in the intervention areas and others in the middle stretch of the Ebro. It has already visited CEIP Dos de Mayo in Castej\u00f3n, in Navarra; CEIP Obispo Ezequiel Moreno, in Alfaro, in La Rioja and Osera de Ebro and Fuentes de Ebro, in Zaragoza. <\/p>

Through a vinyl carpet with the design of a stretch of river, information panels, Velcro images, animal and plant figures, building blocks and a light table, two types of activities are carried out with the students:<\/p>
