The general objective of the LIFE Programme is to contribute to the development, implementation and updating of Community environmental legislation by integrating it into the internal environmental policies of the member states.<\/p>\n<p>This Program aims to prevent the loss of habitats and wild species, as well as to support the transition to a circular economy and protect natural resources <\/p>\n<p>Currently, LIFE projects are divided into four sub-programs: nature and biodiversity, circular economy and quality of life, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, transition to clean energy. LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 belongs to the LIFE20 call, belonging to the previous 2014-2020 septennium, whose structure was made up of two sub-programs (environment and climate action) with categories. Specifically, this project is included within the &#8220;environment&#8221; sub-program, within the category &#8220;environment and resource efficiency&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>&#8220;Natura 2000&#8221; network<\/strong> comprises a set of natural areas designed to halt the loss of biological wealth and to combat the deterioration of the natural resources of the European territory. The Spanish network was established in Spain in November 2006.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><div class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/p>\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"433\" height=\"374\" class=\"wp-image-5237 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ebroresilience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/naturaleza2000.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ebroresilience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/naturaleza2000.png 433w, https:\/\/www.ebroresilience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/naturaleza2000-300x259.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ebroresilience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/naturaleza2000-169x146.png 169w, https:\/\/www.ebroresilience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/naturaleza2000-50x43.png 50w, https:\/\/www.ebroresilience.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/naturaleza2000-87x75.png 87w\" sizes=\"(max-width:767px) 433px, 433px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p><\/div><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The Natura 2000 network is a European ecological network of biodiversity conservation areas.<\/p>\n<p>The persistent degradation of natural habitats and the threats to certain species are a major concern of the environmental policy of the European Union, which is why Directive 92\/43\/CEE on the conservation of natural habitats of wild fauna and flora (&#8220;the Habitats Directive&#8221;) of 21 May 1992 aims to contribute to the maintenance of biodiversity in the member states by defining a common framework for the conservation of habitats and fauna and flora of community interest.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>For this reason, the largest ecological network in the world was created.
