SUMMARY:Informative day: We analyze how the first Ebro Resilience actions are working in the stretch of the river between Milagro and Alfaro
DESCRIPTION:The Ebro Resilience Strategy aims to reduce flood damage in the middle stretch of the Ebro River (between Logroño and La Zaida) and the lower stretches of its tributaries. Since 2020\, detailed studies and simulations of different alternatives for flood risk mitigation in the sections most affected by flooding have been carried out. Following the studies\, deliberative workshops are being held in the different sections\, with stakeholders and the general public\, on the alternatives and management of future uses in those areas where actions are proposed. Following the workshops\, actions have begun to be implemented in different sections of the river. \nIn this context\, the purpose of the day to present the results of the actions in the section between Milagro (Navarra) and Alfaro (La Rioja) is to explain how the actions implemented to date are working\, and to introduce the actions planned for the future downstream. \nIn addition to explaining the results observed\, we will also open a space to collect the perception of the stakeholders\, their expectations and experiences with respect to the actions.  \n\nRegistration form\nWork program\nPoster\nVideo: Combined performance section\n\n

SUMMARY:WalkingRivers experience: guided route between the meander of El Señorío (Castejón) and the meander of La Roza (Alfaro).
DESCRIPTION:On May 11\, we invite you to join us for a day of getting closer to the rivers. \nOn the occasion of the global initiative WalkingRivers to enjoy the rivers of our planet\, we have organized a circular route that will take us from the meander of El Señorío\, in Castejón\, Navarra\, to the meander of La Roza\, in Alfaro\, La Rioja . \nThe LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 project\, in collaboration with the municipalities of Alfaro and Castejón\, invite you to this activity in which we will walk about 7 km between two areas of the river where we are acting to reduce the risk of flooding. \nIt is an activity for the whole family\, a circular route that will leave from the Polygon of Castejón (the exact point of departure will be indicated through a mail that has been provided in the registration)\, will take us to the meander of La Roza and return to the beginning. During the tour we will make explanatory stops. \nWe recommend that you wear comfortable clothes\, appropriate walking shoes\, a hat and water (and walking sticks if you need them). \n \n \n REGISTRATION

SUMMARY:Guided tour through the Soto de Aguilar\, in Fuentes de Ebro.
DESCRIPTION:On April 28th\, an informative guided tour on the Ebro River and the risk of flooding will be organized. During the morning we will go through the meander of Aguilar\, in the municipality of Fuentes de Ebro. There\, we will see birds\, learn about the works to be carried out and some concepts of fluvial dynamics. \nThe course is accessible to all\, with short distances and flat terrain. Grab your backpack\, your poles and join LIFE Ebro Resilience for a wonderful morning. \nThe LIFE Ebro Resilience P1 project aims to ensure that the population and economic activities coexist with an Ebro in a good state of conservation without the inevitable floods causing significant damage. One of the fundamental aspects lies in the active participation of the local population\, as described in the participation and social capacity building plans. \nPlaces are limited\, so we count on \n PRIOR REGISTRATION.
